My name is Dr. Patrick Archie. I’m a medical oncologist and I am passionate about finding ways to make cancer care safer, more informed, cost-effective, and sustainable.

This is the central focus of the TEDx talk I am composing, tentatively entitled “Creative Problem-Solving for the Modern Cancer Care Crisis”.

My care philosophy is quite simple. I believe in transparent communication about prognosis and the relative risks and benefits of treatment. My overall goal as an oncologist is to help patients achieve the best balance of quantity and quality of life.
